A beautiful day between rain showers. Leland as well as Fishtown is busy with visitors.
After another overnight rain, a cloudy beginning. Mid morning the clouds began to thin and blue sky retuned.
Out there west of the islands it’s raining. Here, beautiful cloud formations. The ranch above is across the road from the vineyard below, both within a short walk from my driveway.
Summer is not so far away.
Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to last all day, thunder and rain returned.
Thunder and lightning entertained us again last night.
Purpley pinks- raspberry sorbet, ladies slipper orchids, bleeding hearts, iris, a propeller hub, fishing lure, and a couple of random signs within Leland – and a sunset by Fishtown. These are a few hues of early summer.
Sunrise, sunset… a canopy of fall clouds makes a light-catching backdrop both just after sunset last night and just before (an earlier/more normal-feeling) sunrise this morning. Those who were driving anywhere just after 7 am were treated to an array of pinks.
