Yesterday at dinnertime, another thunder and lightning storm roared through with winds gusting to 65 mph. Thousands out of power, many until Friday. Happy birthday to our granddaughter Meredith! Jumping into 15!
An overnight rain storm roared through the Leelanau with 75 mph winds and torrential downfall. Fallen trees greeted our morning trip to town. More of the same forecasted for tonight.
On Saturday, I headed over to Good Harbor beach (651) because it looked like the northern lights just might be putting on a display.
