It\’s rougher out there than it looks.

This morning, the harbor flew a small craft advisory pennant. The Manitou Passage is likely to be rough, even if it doesn’t appear too bad from shore. I always enjoy looking out at the islands no matter what’s going on with the wind, rain, and sunshine. Today as they often do, the tips of the islands seem to float above the adjacent water (more visible in the top photo). Sunset last night is below, taken at Good Harbor Beach.

Thanks so much, Meggen, for that sunset with islands in the background. I grew up in Leland and so watching sunsets on line takes me home………….without the cost of travel.
