(Report by Jim)
Officially, I am not here, so don’t tell the Governor! I am respecting social distancing and even have a special mask made for me by my daughter. The drone was also distancing itself up and down the Lake Michigan shore fighting a stiff and chilly Northerly breeze, but you couldn’t tell from how calm it was. Another beautiful day in paradise.
Well, now that we have April out of the way, I can announce the winners of the snow gauge contest. The final tally was 106.75″. My daughter and I livestreamed this announcement on the LR Facebook page (at the right), so you can get a look at the prizes there, some of which were generously donated by Amanda Holmes at Fishtown Preservation Society. As you know we are huge Fishtown lovers and if you want to help with the high water repairs, go to https://www.fishtownmi.org
