Sometimes Lake Michigan kicks up – this weekend has been a remarkable example of that! Many in the area are still without electricity due to downed trees. The Good Captain (JP) and I went up to the Grand Traverse Lighthouse to examine the waves… were greeted by model skeletons… pelted by hail… and became quite chilly in a matter of moments in the wind. What follows is a sequence of wave photos taken at the point by the lighthouse. JP assured me that some of the waves exceeded 20 feet in height. Photos just can’t completely capture that. Here’s the attempt. Enjoy your Monday.
