(Report by Jim)
I was looking for some ice boats today to run the drone over but none of the boats were sailing this afternoon. Instead, I took it up to the top of Whaleback and got the sun setting against the shoreline. I never tire of that view. It’s very clear how little ice has accumulated along the shore compared to past years. The bottom photo was a tree along the Mud Lake trail in Northport. It looks like a hand grabbing a chunk of snow.
Jim, I have a shot of that root taken recently too! I have too many pictures, can’t keep up!
I have not received a report since 2/3. Did I unsubscribe by accident?
Love your photos!
As always – I can count on seeing EXCELLENT photos coming from the Burnham site, no matter which of you is posting (you, your dad, Megan OR other guests – old repeats from long ago or current). Thank you – LUV the views, but the ‘catch’ of the day is the visual of the ‘hand’ roots grabbing snow – – perhaps for a mega-snowball? 🙂
Thank you 😊
It’s colder in Ky than it is in Leland.
Such cool pics, thanks Jim!
Jim, I find it difficult to put the beauty your pix into appropiate words.
