(Report by Jim)
Teichner Preserve is a Leelanau Conservancy area on Lime Lake Rd. It’s a short third of a mile walk to the East side of Lime Lake, but I made the most of it. During the Spring and Summer, it should be a treat with the boardwalk through the marsh and some possible Blue Flag Irises, which I’ve only seen at Arcadia Marsh. Everyone was out on Fudgie Beach to take advantage of the clear pre-snow ice. Weather into the weekend should add some more to the snow gauge. Perfect timing because I’ll be heading home Friday afternoon.Â

Nice, again, but #2 looks ominous what with no tracks going away from the hole in the ice..
Have a safe trip home.
It’s a snow angel! 🙂
Don’t you mean Teichner preserve is on the East side of Lime Lake? I live on Sugar Bay Lane and the preserve is to my east where the sun rises.
Oops! Right, I was looking West!
