Vol XVII – #219 – Meggen’s Monday

  A lot of clouds make for a gray day and muted fall colors. Over the weekend, JP and his team moved the nets from the Joy to the net truck, and then from the net truck to the trailer for winter storage.                           

Vol XVII – #218 – A Not So Nice Day

  A miserable drizzly day in the  of Delight.  The Mische Mokwa left for the  islands to pick up the deer hunters.  Their was a kite surfer out in Big Blue.   This is a day to stay home.                        

Vol XVII – #217 – Snow in the Air, No Snow On the Ground

Today the sun did not shine. Heavy wet snow in the air this morning, no accumulation, temperature around 40. Joel Peterson removed netting and gear from the Joy and packed it away till next year.

  The sun keeps peeking through the clouds. It’s a typical fall day. Lots of muted oranges and reds.     It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Wellborn. The picture below to the right, was taken in 1961, Beach House toga party.

The end of August and it’s not as busy, as it is in many states, school is about begin.  The girls at Carlson’s Fish Shanty are headed back to college and Biscuit is going to miss them.  Parking places are easy to find.  Can Fall be far behind?
