Vol XIX – #130 – Yacht Club News

The Leland Yacht Club will host the National One-Design Championship regatta for the twentieth time since 1950. Local sailors expected to participate include Biff Steel and Dave Higley. Races are expected to begin at 10:30 am Thursday through Saturday, with the award ceremony Saturday afternoon.

Vol XIX – #126 – Creatures Great and Small

A storm rolled through Leland yesterday and I must have headed in the wrong direction because the images I saw over the harbor were great. But I always go to the harbor, so I headed out to East Leland instead. Earlier today, I zoomed in on my Mom’s Daisy garden and found a hitchhiker.
