Great hike with Erin scouting the Bay View trail on the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore circuit. This one is just south of the road to Pyramid Point. Take Port Oneida Rd. and take a left onto Miller Rd. to the turnabout. Weather didn’t cooperate with a heavy wind and low temperatures, but the view didn’t disappoint from Lookout Pt. I’m definitely going back next year. You can see the lighthouse on South Manitou to the West and the Crib to the North. Below, there were whitecaps in the harbor along side the Mishe-Mokwa and the wind was so strong, it looked like the river was running backwards. Rick is still the last hold out in Reflections taking advantage of Small Business Saturday.
