It’s a “whitecaps that sparkle” kind of morning, about 54 degrees at the harbor dock with a sturdy onshore breeze…. the kind of day you pause and take a deep breath and rejoice in doing so. Commercial fishing pictures are from yesterday – a gray, drizzly day, with surprisingly strong currents in the Manitou Passage. It is amazing how quickly color brightens with direct sunlight.
Wonderful pics documenting today’s version of commercial fishing the Manitou Passage!. Many years from now they’ll be part of the archival history much like McCord, Peters, and the Leland Reporter have and are putting on “film”.
Today’s LR is a riotous color celebration, with sparkling blues, blue-greens, greens, yellow, orange, white, gray, and puce! Thanx, Meggen.
Love the red jeep pic! 🙂
That feller in the red jeep looks familiar!
