We departed Leland Harbor in the early afternoon on Sunday, bound for Frankfort. It was a beautiful day for a cruise on Lake Michigan! It’s always nice to see familiar places from a new perspective: for me, it was the first opportunity to see the Point Betsie Lighthouse from the water.

Thank you Meggen! My family’s connection to the area began more than a century ago on Crystal Lake and Benzie whereby Leelanau became endeared by its proximity. Some of my earliest memories include Pt. Betsie, Frankfort, Sleeping Bear Dunes (state park) & Fishtown. Great shots from the water, love them!
