Today’s images are from Meggen’s iPhone X and a long walk on Sleeping Bear Point. The beaches are open, and after a couple miles there were fewer footprints. Above photos, looking northward from the point. Below, looking south. Much of the point is roped off to protect the nesting grounds of the piping plover – I saw about a dozen of the birds. I kept walking until I could see Point Betsie. Then I kept walking until I could no longer see the lighthouse on S Manitou Island. My 10k turned into nearly 9 miles!
