The gale warning flags are flying in anticipation of strong coastal winds for Leelanau County and South along the lakeshore. Yesterday the forecast was for gusts up o 60 mph, today, maybe 40 or so. The power company has crews positioned in the county to service any lines down. There are a lot of stressed trees in the county from the August 2 storm.
