An overnight rain storm roared through the Leelanau with 75 mph winds and torrential downfall.  Fallen trees greeted our morning trip to town.  More of the same forecasted for tonight.

It was also cloudy with an almost-full moon illuminating the night sky. It was a quintessential up north evening, with a calm Lake Michigan, and a perfect moment for a beach bonfire and conversation.
