Gusting to 35+ mph, the wind from the southwest prevented me rom reaching the beach. In the upper picture there is a kite border who moments after soared a 100 feet or more into the air.
Partly cloudy and temperature in the 70’s. at noon, rain starting at 2:30.
Sunny and 80 degrees at noon. It seems as though the color popped out overnight, highs in the 40’s by the end of the week.
When we travel, as I did over the last couple of weeks, we sometimes find ourselves in fishing villages comparable with the wonderful Fishtown in Leland. October 7th… Not a Busy as yesterday.
October 6th… In spite of a damp and cloudy day, Fishtown was a busy place. The couple below with Biscuit had just bought a “Biscuit” tile.
October 5th… The Deering Crew did a fantastic job of clearing the roof. We were lucky that there wasn’t any roof damage.
October 4th… Rain , wind and a tree falling across my roof.
October 3rd… Rain with water up over the sidewalk.
