Sometimes the fog makes space for your imagination. Other times mother nature displays vivid technicolor. We’ll enjoy both.

Biscuit had a fatty tumor removed this morning and will be out of the spotlight for at least a week, stiches removed in two weeks. The day didn’t start out dark and dreary, a cold front moving through brought with it some wind, a little rain along with cooler temperatures. Our thoughts and prayers for all in harms way on the east coast.
It’s been a beautiful day so far but… rain is on it’s way. Gee, that’s what I said yesterday.
Not the best weekend for having a wedding, heard that there were three. Falling Waters was full up and town had a lot of visitors. Weather radar showed a counter clockwise rotating line of showers over Leelanau County, nowhere else.
We are on our way to the Big City By the Bay to see my eye doctor about the other eye. Today is turning out to be a beautiful Leelanau kind of day. The main picture was taken by my phone this morning
In spite of the fact that yesterday was a cold and damp, we needed the rain. Today on the other hand is sunny and not as chilly, is one fine day in May. The absence of wind in the early morning coolness was appreciated. Shortly after noon, rain began and Fishtown was vacant except for customers of the Cheese & Fish Shanties. Light rain falling is a good reason for not being there.
This mornings rain was welcomed by most if not all, the afternoons fog a surprise. The gull below was dive bombing after a fish. I had hoped to catch him with a catch, but it was not to be. To be sure there is always beauty to be found on rainy/foggy days.
