Vol XVI # 077 – First Day of Sailing School

A overcast but beautiful beginning to a very nice day.  It was a perfect day to begin teaching sailing at the Leland Yacht Club. The sailing class was small but in a week or two there will be a lot more students.

A Fishtown Story:  As usual Biscuit gets a lot of attention in Fishtown, even from those who have never heard of him.  Last Friday a lady from downstate asked if she could pet him and exclaimed how beautiful he was.   She was joined by a gentleman who also wanted to pet him.  My response to these requests is most always, ” if you pet him, you must have your picture taken with him”  As I was posing them with Biscuit, I told them about the Leland Report and that they would be on the internet with Biscuit.  With that remark the lady looked at the gentleman and said ” oh, if people see me with you on the internet, they will wonder what we are doing together” and with that turned on their heels and swiftly walked away.
