Last night at the Leelanau Historical Museum, Norb Gits officially opened and dedicated the Norbert Gits Family Gallery and Bluestone Conference Room which featured my Fishtown pen & inks as well as other artists and photographers at a special showing for Museum Benefactors.

In Fishtown this morning, artists set up their easels to capture the beauty of this wonderful and unique place.  Their paintings will be available for show and sale on Sunday afternoon at the Leelanau Museum.

Below, Biscuit and I met Joan Richman, 2016 Ann Hall Artist in Residence at The Old Art Building in Leland. An exhibit at the OAB will continue thru tomorrow 12 pm to 4 pm.  As for Biscuit’s conehead, it’s the result of a “hotspot” on his cheek that needs protecting.
