Today was forecasted to be mostly sunny to partly cloudy and indeed it started out that way only to be completely overcast by noon. Along with there not being any JOY in Fishtown, there is no sunshine. In spite of Thanksgiving Day being rainy, it was a wonderful day to be with our families. Don’t forget about 20% off everything… Read more »
(Today’s report is from Jim) Our eyes in Leland alerted us about the effort to move the Joy to Stander Marine for some needed R&R (Repaint and Refurbish). Wind died down today and the sun came out for the rest of the afternoon. An all-around Leland day. Don’t forget about 20% off everything on the store through Monday. The day began in Fishtown before the clouds moved out and the sun returned, the only sounds were the chug of the tug. Fishtown is a special place in the early morning. The only shops open are the Cheese Shanty and Carlson’s Fish.
It was a weekend full of end-of-summer hubbub in Leland. It felt like summer! With great sadness we announce the passing of Leo Jerry G. Shea, one of the mainstays of our Leland Community. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife Patty, Katie, Loretta, Michael, Kevin, Kerry and their families.

Not the nicest day for a Fishtown party. Some raindrops in the morning and cool foggy air in the afternoon, but the show must go on.
One of the rewards of doing the LR is meeting people like this group of fisherladies returning from a successful trip out on Big Blue. Biscuit enjoyed a boat ride with my granddaughters Shae and Lauren on a beautiful Leland day.
That time of the season when it’s all coming together, weather and people to enjoy it.
