Even when it’s gray and rainy, this area offers up beautiful views. (Report by Jim) Easter Sunday is cold and cloudy, but at least it isn’t raining. On the way back from St. Wenceslaus this morning, I saw this group of seagulls chillin’ on the roof of a nearby barn. There is always something to see here.
A clear and cold get-up. Beautiful blue in the sky makes up for it. A trip down French Road brought back memories of early Leland Reports. What kind of a day was it?… A Leelanau kind of day of course !
The picture above shows the shoreline that has been battered by southwest, west, northwest winds that have eroded the beach to the degree that I’m at least 6 or more feet above the beach. One of the reasons is the lack of ice on the Great Lakes. This of course contributes to lake effect snow and the lack of sunshine. … Read more »
