    After a bunch of cloudy days  and rain… sunshine! Leland was busy with a lot of visitors.  Most of the charter fishing boats have been pulled.

    Gusting to 35+ mph, the wind from the southwest prevented me rom reaching the beach.  In the upper picture there is a kite border who moments after soared a 100 feet or more into the air.                          

Vol XVIII – #187 – 80 Degrees… Can Winter Be Far Behind

  Sunny and 80 degrees at noon.  It seems as though the color popped out overnight, highs in the 40’s by the end of the week.

  When we travel, as I did over the last couple of weeks, we sometimes find ourselves in fishing villages comparable with the wonderful Fishtown in Leland.
