It was a very summery weekend in Leland. The harbor was teeming with activity of all sorts – as many boats as could fit, lots of people enjoying the beach, and swimming to cool down in this genuinely warm stretch of August. The crew of the Joy pulled one net from the lake: an indication that our summer season is winding down.
