After overnight winds 35 to 40 mph… a nice sunrise.  The temperature soared into upper 50’s.  A nice day.

Report by Jim Great hike with Erin scouting the Bay View trail on the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore circuit. This one is just south of the road to Pyramid Point. Report by Jim Leland was crowded this morning, with the pajama sale and Holly Pop going on. Everyone but me got up super early to get in on the action. Lots of action as well down on the beach. Hope your day after Thanksgiving was a pleasant one. ♥

Vol XVII – #235 – The Day Before Thanksgiving

Falling Waters Lodge is being upgraded inside and out with new furniture, utilities and at the moment, a new roof. Looking forward to arrival of family.

  The wind howled throughout the night and is still howling. The morning arrived with a beautiful blue sky.  The clouds moved in by noon along with falling temperatures. Winter like weather promised for Thanksgiving.
