Vol XVI – #187 – Soon It’s Gonna Rain… I Can Feel It

Not the best weekend for having a wedding, heard that there were three.  Falling Waters was full up and town had a lot of visitors.  Weather radar  showed a counter clockwise rotating line of showers over Leelanau County, nowhere else.

Vol XVI # 023 – AM Rain, PM Fog

This mornings rain was welcomed by most if not all, the afternoons fog a surprise.  The gull below was dive bombing after a fish. I had hoped to catch him with a catch, but it was not to be.  To be sure there is always beauty to be found on rainy/foggy days.

Above, pictures of the calmness of Big Blue as well as the absence of winter two days before Christmas.  It’s not the first time it’s been void of snow, hopefully not a trend for the season.  Remembering the record snowfall two years ago I’m sure it’s not. Below is an update of the new fire station progress.      … Read more »

But rainy fog is what we have – where the familiar shoreline disappears into a bank of misty white. Meanwhile behind the scenes, the Joy is being fitted with rails that are about eight inches higher. The fishermen… Read more »
