Six degrees and possible light snow off and on until sometime tomorrow. Our Road Commission has kept our roads clean in spite of the continuing winter weather. Mother Nature takes this time to redesign the infrastructure.
Light snow for most of the day. Tomorrow a high of 8 degrees. A lot better than is predicted for the east coast.
There was a moment of joy when the sun broke through the clouds. But, not to last, a clipper system snow is on tap for tonight and tomorrow.

Leelanau County was the only county in Michigan getting snowed on yesterday and all last night, ending about a hour ago. I think Leland received a foot of new. Received Leif’s Suttons Bay Snow Report, will get County report on Wednesday. Wishing all a Happy New Year!
Leelanau County seems to be the only place in the entire state that it is snowing.
All the weather reports say the same thing… ” this lake effect system is here to stay for awhile”. I hope it isn’t when Big Blue freezes over. Biscuit and his new friend “Smiley” enjoy some winter fun this morning.
Lake Leelanau has iced over as well as the river. Along with the wind, Big Blue has calmed down and should start icing over as long as the temperatures stay below freezing. Biscuit and his old friend “Leland” enjoy some winter fun this morning.
