Vol XVI – #168 – Rain, Rain… Go

I would like to wish our grandson Matthew Kren a Happy 25th Birthday and congratulations to Jim and Erin Burnham, celebrating their 19th anniversary. Rain moved in around 8 am this morning and delayed our journey to the lakeshore.  I put the safari top on the Wrangler at noon and Biscuit and I headed for Fishtown.  Probably a dozen people, half with… Read more »

Vol XVI – #144 – The World Champions

Dark skies and treat of storms began our day.  The forecast for thunderstorms didn’t deter this group and the races continued.  Congratulations to the winners.  Actually they are all winners.  In the upper right of the above picture are a group from Canada Below, Sam Hearn and his son received the Submariner Award.

The driver sent off to Munson in an ambulance.  I arrived after the fact and only know… Read more »

Vol XVI – #135 – The Day Began Perfect

And then the sky turned gray because rain is on it’s way.  At least we hope it’s on it’s way.  Unfortunately there is a meteor shower tonight.  The Leland sidewalk sale in progress.  Busy times.

Vol XVI – #134 – Wine a Bit… You’ll Feel Better

Another one of those day after day days.  We passed the time away this morning as we always do, on Van’s Beach.  There were times in the past that we referred to the beach as Hall’s Beach or Taylor’s Beach. This afternoon, Biscuit and I made a visit to Chateau Fontaine, one of our favorite stops.
