If it wasn’t for the coolness of the morning, you could believe you were in Hawaii looking out at the surf. Sweatshirt weather, never the less a beautiful first day of July. A challenging day for sailors on Big Blue. Sunny, mid 70’s with possible weather system moving through on Thursday which means a great 4th of July celebration.

The surf was up this morning and the surfers were trying to. On the cool side but the air was clean and clear. It was time to float the boat and tour the shoreline. Vol XV #203 – Another Eclectic October Day
Another one of those days that had everything Mother Nature could bring. Deep dark clouds with pockets of blue and billowing whites. Drizzle at times with periods of snow. Temperature in the forties with wind gusts in the twenties. Leelanau County color is shown on TV at 50% with the peak predicted next weekend.
