  A frosty 21 degrees at sunrise, rising into the upper 30’s.  Blue sky and no wind gave us another beautiful day. SAD NEWS: Received word of the passing of Eugene Hadjisky (Hadj)

February roared over the weekend, with high winds. We are welcoming the longer days. Monday is clear with bright blue skies, and not much breeze. The deer are all over the place – keep your eyes open along the roads.

The weather stations warned of high winds with gusts of 40 mph for downhill from the bluff Sunday.  The wind howled overnight and this morning indeed gusted 40+.  It seemed that for the most part that the wind was a steady 40+. The sun took over around noon, the temperature rose to 40 degrees. Tomorrow… wind and rain.
