The sun is rising over Leland when Biscuit and I arrive each morning. Mid September, it’s still dark when we get to Fishtown, our first stop before we go over to Van’s Beach. We return at half past noon for Biscuit’s treat, fish sausage.
The “Mar” and family say good by. They are on their way back to Oregon.
This is my grandson Christopher, visiting Leland with his parents Mary and Gary Curtis from Ashland, Oregon.
This weekend was a great time to take advantage of being outside. Especially if you find an unoccupied bench in the national park, and spend a few minutes taking in the view and the crisp, not-so-humid-anymore air. Today is one of those days that the clouds rule the sky. (Jim) I took a break today and drove over to Fudgie Beach to catch a Cumulus forming over Lake Leelanau. I heard this storm produced heavy rains and lightning in Traverse City. This is all we got, shame. 😉
