Water temps on the Lake Michigan shoreline are 50-55F, so it was probably little higher on the little lake. Still COLD. But, sometimes you need a little shock to the system. (Report by Jim) What a difference a day can make! Lake Michigan was a sheet of glass as Gwenn Stevenson led me on a kayak run up the north shoreline. (Report by Jim) Very foggy this morning so I headed out to Fishtown. Took a walk out on the breakwall and North Beach (apparently not North Beach anymore, no sign). Fog stayed around all day in many places, especially Lake Michigan.
(Report by Jim) The last two days have been dark and cold and rainy. Looks like some good weather is heading this way this weekend, but more unseasonably cold air is on the way. Today was a good day for beach still lifes at the end of Bohemian Rd on Good Harbor Bay.
