Vol XVI – #149 – On the Way Back From Suttons Bay… Farms Along the Way

  To Suttons Bay and back this morning for a pre-op physical.  Going to have cataract surgery early next month, I really don’t know what the Leland Report will be, hopefully son Jim can make some magic happen from central Illinois.  Joanne and I enjoyed lunch at the Cove, always a pleasant experience, especially the service.         

Vol XVI – #148 – Raining

Bright skies quickly changed to darkness, thunder, lightning and our morning began with a bang.   For the second time this summer the Jeep had it’s safari top installed.  In spite of the rain drops, Fishtown was crowded.

Vol XVI – #145 – Cloud War

  After a night of wind, drizzle and dense cloud cover the morning sky began to open up and by noon it was a sky show.  The surfers were surfing on Big Blue which took on the color of the moving sand. Another day in the Land of Delight.    

Vol XVI – #144 – The World Champions

Dark skies and treat of storms began our day.  The forecast for thunderstorms didn’t deter this group and the races continued.  Congratulations to the winners.  Actually they are all winners.  In the upper right of the above picture are a group from Canada Below, Sam Hearn and his son received the Submariner Award.

Vol XVI – #140 – Boathouse Tuesday

From mostly cloudy to fantastic cloudy, what a sky show.!  We have had terrific cloud formations the past couple of days.  A one mile per hour northeast wind provided us with a picture taking calm Big Blue. 

Vol XVI – #138 – On the Way Back From Stocking Drive

Another beautiful morning, another beautiful day.  We decided to Jeep it to Glen Arbor and then on for a scenic trip through Stocking Drive and drive we did as there were no parking places anywhere.  Stopped to picture take on the way back home.  Little Glen Lake below.
