Vol XV #183 – A Cloudy Sunday in Leland with Biscuit, Leif and a Seagull

Every once in awhile there comes a day when you just don’t know what to take a picture of, so you just take a picture of something.    Here is Biscuit assuming the pose that made him famous on Leif’s Biscuit tile.

Vol XV #182 – Fishtown Sunrise and Later, a Van’s Beach Wedding

A special moment as the sun rises over Fishtown.  The sailboat could have had a little more wind to sail home with, but what a beautiful morning it was.  Wow!… and if you had planned a wedding on Van’s Beach in late September, how lucky can you get.  Congratulations to the bride and groom.

Vol XV #181 – The Grapes of Chateau Fontaine

Another special moment as the sun rises over Van’s Beach.  I think it’s obvious that this is where the day begins for Biscuit and Me, next stop… Fishtown.  A special treat today was our journey through the vineyards of Chateau Fontaine.

Vol XV #179 – First Day of Fall

I wonder how many people remember that when Ozzie Cordes owned the Mercantile, there was a hardware department in the basement.  At least I think it was in the basement, it’s been a few years ago.  Looking for something of interest I took a picture of the “Merc” because it looked so nice in the morning sun.

Vol XV #175 – Leland’s Heritage Day Was a Very Nice Day

It started out as a rainy, then cloudy morning with incredible formations.  The surfers were out taking advantage of Big Blue with a north by northwest wind.  A healthy downpour fell on Leland around noon and then the sky became partly cloudy with bright blue patches.  It was great day in Leland Town.

Vol XV #174 – Friday Started Out Cloudy and Rainy

Biscuit and I stopped by Leith’s shop to check on “Biscuit Tiles” and found they had been “sold out”.  Leith has returned home from a 3 week stay in Norway and is making new ones to fill the demand. Below, another compact car parked behind Falling Waters.
