Vol XVII – #255 – In Spite of the Forecast… the Sun came Out

Our morning was highlighted by wind blowing, not gusting, at 30+ m.p.h. I had a very difficult time staying upright.  Around noon the snow stopped and the sun ruled the sky.  That all changed a half hour ago with lake effect snow blowing.

Vol XVII – #254 – Meggen’s Monday

It’s Monday morning in Leland. Streaks of light from the “rush hour” — mostly to school — slow shutter speeds add the action for today’s photos.

Vol XVII – #250 – Wind Out of the West, Lake Effect Snow

Wind gusting over 30 mph, blowing out of the northwest is getting irritating. This old body of mine is finding it harder and harder to stay upright.

Vol XVII – #249 – Not the Nicest Day

Wind Advisory from last night continued over into this morning.  There should have been another flag on the pole at the harbor.  The wind was so strong that I couldn’t get over to the shoreline for a picture.  Lost the internet early in the afternoon, much of the county was out of power.

Vol XVII – #237 – Pajamas, Holly Pop and the Beach

Report by Jim Leland was crowded this morning, with the pajama sale and Holly Pop going on. Everyone but me got up super early to get in on the action. Lots of action as well down on the beach. Hope your day after Thanksgiving was a pleasant one. ♥
