One of the great Sunday joys we have available here in Leelanau County are the Church Chicken Dinners. Today it was Holy Rosary in Isadore and it’s finger lickin good. Jack Duffy and his family invited Biscuit to join them in a photo shoot.

. A word of caution to our local and summer folks, watch out for careless drivers of automobiles and bikes. Especially the bikers who ride two feet inside the driving lane when they have 4 feet of shoulder. The Leland Yacht Club held a memorial Sunfish Regatta dedicated to the memory of Past Commodore Jim Fenton. Jim was known for his love of racing his Sunfish and dedication to his years as LYC Commodore. Present along with family members were Past Commodores Norb Gits, Bill Bolinger, Ted Sichler, Keith Burnham, Mary Jo Grogan, John Stanley and Laura Paine.
