It’s summertime up north! A delightful mix of hot afternoons, icy cold lake water, the Cherry Festival Air Show (which we admired from a boat), rip-roaring t-storms that knocked down trees and took out electricity, and the brilliant sunsets that somehow always follow the storms.
Another day to stay in the shade. The picture taken of Fishtown above was taken at 12:30 p.m. This mornings walk at 8 am was delightful with wind off the lake and temperatures in the 70’s.

Our Day was composed with blue sky and puffy white clouds.
Our Day began with rain and was blessed with sunshine this afternoon.
Today is a day about a lot of things, among them, kids, fish and strawberries. A perfect day to tour the county, a beautiful day to visit Fishtown and Kovarik’s strawberry farm.
Sunset cruise in an amphibious car, Sunday evening after the Sunday Night Community Sing at the Leland Country Club. Huge smiles all around – on board the car-boat as well as on the dock.
