The Lights in Fishtown are generating a lot of buzz these days. They’re certainly worth seeing in person if you’re around; they’ll be illuminated from 5 pm to 10 pm nightly through January 6th. The surf on the West side was nill, but on the East side it was predictably rough, these being taken just north of Northport. The ice below was at Leelanau State Park. (Report by Jim) There was sun today! Didn’t see it? I almost didn’t, either! I went down to Sleeping Bear Dunes to see if anyone was sledding, found a few post-christmas sledders and some blue sky. It didn’t last long, however, but it was enough.
