The morning began breezy with a chance of beautiful and it was. The harbor was full up with a few hanger backs because of the wind out of the west at 16 mph. Of course local businesses like this a lot as it keeps captive boaters in town to shop and dine.
The morning began cloudy with a chance of drizzle and it did. Fish like to bite when it drizzles and they did. By noon the clouds moved out and the sun took over and with it, a beautiful afternoon. It’s great seeing these young anglers as they bring in the catch of the morning.
There is always a lot of jubilation coming from the fishing buddies when they arrive in the morning. Today I asked Captain Anderson and his crew member to join the fishermen with Biscuit for a photo. One of the great Sunday joys we have available here in Leelanau County are the Church Chicken Dinners. Today it was Holy Rosary in Isadore and it’s finger lickin good. Jack Duffy and his family invited Biscuit to join them in a photo shoot.
In spite of being a little drizzly in the AM, it was a very nice day and a great day for a 5K.

. A word of caution to our local and summer folks, watch out for careless drivers of automobiles and bikes. Especially the bikers who ride two feet inside the driving lane when they have 4 feet of shoulder.
