Fog was on the move at get up and get goin time. Stopped by 2 Jays for a view of the harbor at noon and took a picture of the harbor fog. Not clear as to how nice a day it was.

Last evening a bunch of us old-timers gathered together to remember those we grew up with, partied with and competed with. Don and Marilyn Pendergast were hosts for so many of our exploits at Penwood located at the mouth of the Carp River. Times have changed, Penwood has changed

If it wasn’t for the coolness of the morning, you could believe you were in Hawaii looking out at the surf. Sweatshirt weather, never the less a beautiful first day of July. A challenging day for sailors on Big Blue. Sunny, mid 70’s with possible weather system moving through on Thursday which means a great 4th of July celebration.

Lots of visitors enjoying the beautiful weather that in a few hours will change to rain. A front still on the other side of Big Blue is headed this way. The prediction is for rain starting around 8 pm and ending around 5 am tomorrow. Until then….. enjoy!

The surf was up this morning and the surfers were trying to. On the cool side but the air was clean and clear. It was time to float the boat and tour the shoreline.
