A lot of JOY to celebrate today in the Leelanau.  Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Adam Furore (Sarah Schaub), married on a “couldn’t be nicer day. The guys below, joyful about the morning catch.  And a Joyful Biscuit, happy for a short trip on the JOY.  

Vol XVI – #094 – Surfer’s Delight

  If it wasn’t for the coolness of the morning, you could believe you were in Hawaii looking out at the surf.  Sweatshirt weather, never the less a beautiful first day of July.  A challenging day for sailors on Big Blue.  Sunny, mid 70’s with possible weather system moving through on Thursday which means a great 4th of July celebration.

Lots of visitors enjoying the beautiful weather that in a few hours will change to rain. A front still on the other side of Big Blue is headed this way.  The prediction is for rain starting around 8 pm and ending around 5 am tomorrow.  Until then….. enjoy!

The surf was up this morning and the surfers were trying to.   On the cool side but the air was clean and clear.
