A perfect, crisp, clear fall day is here… perfect for watching various wildlife in Leland harbor: salmon swimming and jumping upriver, heron swooping over the breakwater, gulls flying about. Best wishes on this Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples Day!

Vol XVI – #181 – Meggen’s Monday

  Some nights offer a beauty of their own. Just before moonrise four days ago, fast-moving clouds caught that light, and I set up the shot at the top. It’s a 30-second exposure to capture cloud movement. Milky Way, below. And a fish net. Just because. (Note that today, Monday, is cloudy, windy, and rainy.)

This morning, we had clear skies overhead, now decorated with a few puffy clouds. Today’s second and third photos are iPhone “shots over the bow,” at sunset last night and late afternoon Saturday. These days have been and continue to be pure delight!
