Vol XVI – #187 – Soon It’s Gonna Rain… I Can Feel It

Not the best weekend for having a wedding, heard that there were three.  Falling Waters was full up and town had a lot of visitors.  Weather radar  showed a counter clockwise rotating line of showers over Leelanau County, nowhere else.

Vol XVI – #183 – Nothing But Blue Sky Do I See

It’s been a couple of dark and windy days but blue sky do I see.  Looking north from South Beach you can see the beach covered with stones, a rocker’s paradise.  All created by the strong wind driven waves crashing against the bluff wall.  The ladder shows how high that wall has been formed.  The picture below shows how… Read more »

We are on our way to the Big City By the Bay to see my eye doctor about the other eye. Today is turning out to be a beautiful Leelanau kind of day.  The main picture was taken by my phone this morning

Vol XVI – #168 – Rain, Rain… Go

I would like to wish our grandson Matthew Kren a Happy 25th Birthday and congratulations to Jim and Erin Burnham, celebrating their 19th anniversary. Rain moved in around 8 am this morning and delayed our journey to the lakeshore.  I put the safari top on the Wrangler at noon and Biscuit and I headed for Fishtown.  Probably a dozen people, half with… Read more »
